Are you a recent graduate? Do you have an interest in company law and want to make a start on your career path?

 

Our Company Secretarial team is growing, and we’re currently seeking a Company Secretarial Administrator to join them on their journey. You could be based in London, or further a-field in one of our other office hubs.

Our Company Secretarial team help businesses operate smoothly. Their support is essential and allows their clients to operate smoothly and focus on achieving their goals, by taking the weight of fulfilling regulatory obligations and compliance off their shoulders. They’ve established a solid presence in the South-East and are now looking to expand their offering across the country.

 

About the day to day…

 

You'll be working with a broad range of clients of all shapes and sizes across a range of industries. As a Junior Company Secretary, you can expect to get stuck into:

 

  • Providing administrative support within the Company Secretarial team in processing client compliance and related tasks;
  • Preparation and filing of compliance documentation at Companies House within set deadlines;
  • Maintaining relevant databases and client records as required; and
  • Participating in projects and/or undertaking any other duties as reasonably expected for the role

In addition to those core values, as a Company Secretarial Administrator you should;

 

  • Ideally completed a graduate degree
  • Have had legal secretarial or business administration experience
  • Ideally have experience in a professional services background (not required)
  • Be able to work well under pressure, while maintaining a high level of detail and organisation in work
  • Able to follow detailed and methodical processes, and input into improving those processes over time
  • Have an interest in company law and corporate governance
  • Have good IT skills and be able to pick up company secretarial software programmes
  • Be a good time manager and be able to take initiative
  • Willingness to take on other work when necessary
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanour and the ability to maintain confidentiality
