We’re flexible on sector experience, and you could have some existing CF experience or strong transaction services experience that could transfer to corporate finance.

  • Client Management: Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, managing deal-related issues while keeping the deal team informed.
  • Transaction Documents: Lead the preparation and first-level review of key transaction documents, including information memorandums, financial models, and due diligence reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee financial analysis, ensuring accurate EBITDA assessments, valuations, and increasing involvement in complex areas of documentation critical to business positioning.
  • Business Insights: Take ownership of detailed business insights that contribute to negotiations and legal processes, supporting effective transaction execution.
  • Workstream Delegation: Delegate and oversee key transaction workstreams, including data room management, due diligence responses, buyer research, and pitch pack production.
  • Project Management: Manage junior colleagues’ workstreams, ensuring project deadlines are met and high-quality outputs are delivered.
  • Update Meetings: Lead weekly update meetings, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on critical project action items.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior colleagues, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth, including delivering training sessions.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between junior and senior team members, facilitating smooth collaboration and knowledge transfer.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide regular performance feedback and support line management responsibilities.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of new methodologies, best practices, and process improvements to enhance the firm’s capabilities.

About you...

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or similar qualification.
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, with a strong track record in business development and transaction management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and valuations.
