About the role...

Are you a Salesforce Guru?

Fancy playing a key role in fuelling our ambition to become the number one mid-market ‘tech and data led’ accountancy firm, redefining the technology standards for our industry?

Interested in pushing your career to the next level at one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For?

Cooper Parry’s growth is booming, so we have a brand-spanking-new opening for a technically strong, hands-on Salesforce Architect, to take our core platform to new heights, leveraging the latest innovations from Salesforce and the partner network. There will be lots to get stuck into as you explore and analyse our data, identifying trends and creating models to boost business performance even further.

A day in the life of our Salesforce Architect…

  • Full technical ownership of the CP Core Platform built around Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud Growth, Certinia (Financial Force), Tableau, Mulesoft and AgentForce
  • Managing day-to-day maintenance and updates across the Salesforce platform including custom objects, fields, workflows and validation rules
  • Leading the design, development and delivery of our Integration Strategy, working with line-of-business system vendors to exploit API capabilities to drive automation and data quality improvements
  • Working with the business to identify process improvement / automation opportunities and building these into our delivery roadmap (continuous improvement)
  • Developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices for Salesforce development
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the Development and Automation teams

None of this will be possible without you being on the ball, staying up to date on the latest data science techniques and tools to continuously improve our analytical capabilities.

About you...

As you’ll have close ties with our clients and other teams within CP, we are looking for someone who is confident, with top notch communication and presentation skills. As well as…

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and development (Apex, Lightening Web Components and Salesforce APIs, etc)
  • Experience developing API based integrations using middleware tools, ideally Mulesoft
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities either through third party solution providers or using AgentForce / Mulesoft
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Strong understanding of the testing and deployment lifecycle (unit testing, CI/CD, version control)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We are looking for someone based in and around the East Midlands, able to commute to our East Midlands hub in Castle Donington at least a couple days a week.
