Our Private Client team is evolving into a national powerhouse, and we’re on the hunt for a Manager to bring senior leadership, fresh thinking, and serious client skills to our Manchester office.

This role isn’t about churning out tax returns. It’s about adding value, embracing automation, and helping shape the future of tax compliance.

Why this role exists

Following some senior exits/retirements and us coming together as a National team following various acquisitions, we’re injecting new energy into Manchester.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, with some partnership and trust work thrown in.
• Leading on CGT calculations, complex returns, and client queries.
• Supporting the rollout of automation tools (yes, we’ve got a bot named Petar).
• Acting as a senior voice in Manchester - mentoring, challenging, and driving change.
• Collaborating with a national team to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled compliance process.

What we’re looking for

• A qualified (including ATT, CTA) or experienced tax pro with solid private client compliance knowledge.
• Someone who’s client-obsessed - you know how to build trust and add value beyond the return.
• A change-maker who’s excited by automation, innovation, and doing things differently.
• A cultural fit - ambitious, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
