Our Private Client team is evolving into a national powerhouse, and we’re on the hunt for an Assistant Manager to bring fresh thinking, and serious client skills to one of our offices. This role isn’t about churning out tax returns. It’s about adding value, embracing automation, and helping shape the future of tax compliance.

Following some exits/retirements and us coming together as a National team following various acquisitions, we’re injecting new energy into Manchester.

About you...

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, with some partnership and trust work thrown in.
  • Including preparing CGT calculations, handling client queries and keeping clients up to date with recent tax changes.
  • Supporting the rollout of automation tools (yes, we’ve got a bot named Petar).
  • Adding value to the team by challenging and driving change.
  • Collaborating with a national team to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled compliance process.

  • qualified (including ATT, CTA) or experienced tax pro with private client compliance knowledge.
  • Someone who’s client-obsessed - you know how to build trust and add value beyond the return.
  • change-maker who’s excited by automation, innovation, and doing things differently.
  • cultural fit - ambitious, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
