About the role...

We’re looking for a finance professional with accounting and NetSuite experience to join our fast-growing CP Digital team, who will be a fundamental part of the Technical Services team.

 

You will be a person who has worked on the client-side finance team with strong experience operating their NetSuite and wider tech stack. Responsible for contributing to the design of process improvements and integrations. You’ll be look to apply the skills you have built in consulting to help many other businesses. You’ll solve new and interesting complex NetSuite problems for our exciting clients in a range of different industries. Working with a passionate and clever team of NetSuite accounting and solution consultants.

 

As an experienced accounting professional, you’ll be responsible for supporting clients with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices. There will be engagement with high level finance executives on the client side, so you’ll need to utilise strong communication and technical acumen to lead these conversations constructively, guiding and influencing to the answer.

 

What will the day to day look like? You will:

 

  • Be the subject matter expert for advanced accounting issues
  • Act as the Finance bridge with the client, showing consideration for end user and working with them to gain the best solutions on NetSuite
  • Champion quality assurance which includes oversight of the accounting processes and administration
  • Guide clients on best practice and the finance function, enhancing the MacroFin service offering
  • Support the Managed Service team with issue resolution and client road mapping
  • Provide industry and end-user insight to the wider Macrofin team
  • Curating NetSuite solutions to finance operational issues

About you...

As a Technical Accounting Consultant, you’ll be a self-starter, confident in juggling multiple priorities and projects. You’ll be able to work autonomously and be able to demonstrate dealing with project challenges and managing stakeholders through these. You will also have:  

 

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance process concepts
  • Hands-on experience of NetSuite implementation(s) and/or NetSuite system improvements and knowledge of day-to-day system management
  • Client-side finance business process experience
  • Talent for systems and be interested in process and solution improvements
  • Ideally a qualified accountant
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to mentor junior staff
  • Excellent communication skills
