As our next Business Development Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team have everything they need to continue their success, and enable Cooper Parry to achieve our ambitions to become one of the leaders in our industry.

You’ll support the sales teams throughout the business by managing target pools, researching potential clients, and providing meaningful insights and analysis to influence strategies.

Key responsibilities will include:  

• Cleansing Target Pools 

• Reviewing and refining lists of potential clients to make sure we’re focusing on the right businesses. 

• Researching Targets 

• Using tools like LinkedIn, Companies House, and other databases to build profiles on companies and uncover what makes them tick. 

• Identifying Decision Makers 

• Finding the key people we need to speak to - CEOs, CFOs, Founders, and other senior leaders. 

• Populating Salesforce 

• Keeping our CRM up to date with accurate contact info, company insights, and engagement notes. 

• Creating Research Packs 

• Pulling together slick, insightful packs for our Partners ahead of meetings - so they walk in with confidence and context.

This is an ideal role for a self-starter, with a go-getter attitude and an appetite to discover new skills and progress.

We’re looking for something with:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of using and managing databases
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel
• A team player mentality

In addition to that, you’ll ideally (but not essentially!) have:

• An understanding of Salesforce
• Experience managing sales data and analysing targets
• Created research packs
• Experience with Power BI reporting
